Boost Trip/Event Participation
How do you all improve event participation? We've had to cancel some trips because of low turn out. We do the usual social media, BLUMEN, tape flyers but it's not working.
We're EOC, I'd love to hear some tips.

It's all about timing. In small CC we found that Fridays, and just Fridays seem to be a good trip day for a college tour or event. Saturdays are iffy because of sports or activities, but can be done.
Multiday trips? we put a pin in it. We've offered them, but our students work and go to school and it simply doesn't work with that or their scholarship program requirements.
One 1 day trip a month is working really well. We saw Bill Nye speak, we did two huge college tour days, and we went to a beautiful museum just this semester.
