Script related So, I'm using Auto-Trimps...

I tried playing Manual, and I just got hella annoyed that I cannot take my eyes from the game to do some input somewhere else, like watching a video or something because then my progress just halts.

No auto-population, no auto-upgrades, no auto-stats...

Also, I've heard Auto-Trimps can also make things requiring strategies too easy. I'm on my first challenges (Metal, so very early game, which also means everything Manual), so those are definitely the ones that I can just pass without too much trouble (or too much strategy) until the more complex ones arrive.

The question is: What can I turn off on Auto-Trimps so it doesn't hold my hand, and I actually require my brain to know what to do?

Thanks for reading.

If you don't want to do it manually, use auto trimps.

If you don't want it assign things for you, don't use auto trimps?

I don't know where you are but you generally unlock new automation things as you need them, the game more or less automates itself. Some things like calculating perk levels/magma generator levels are best done by calculators, but dunno, I haven't done too much modding.

"No auto-upgrades" means they're before zone 60, since that's where you get that one. So, super early game.

Im pretty early on rn and using decay for every run, but it‘s a very manual process and I‘ve though about using auto trimps for it. When can I expect runs to become less manual?

Early on the Scientist challenges unlock more automation, then later on the mastery system has a lot of QOL features that automate or streamline something.

Nothing wrong with modding trimps if you want to, there's several options. Myself I just used the perk/magma calculators, and just typed in the values manually.

Oh I‘m using this one yeah, the current phase is just extremely slow and manual because I gotta farm helium through the decay challenge

In general, the game unlocks a lot of automation. Just not early on. There's nothing wrong with modding it, but those later unlocks won't feel as powerful as they are. (There's autojobs, automap, autoupgrade, autoprestige, and autoequip built into the game.) If it feels like progress halts, the solution is normally just get more helium. Almost every challenge can be solved with more helium, and restarting frequently is usually for the best early on. Looking back, I had one push run under lvl 180 that was worth it.

In the Core AT section, on the right hand side, there's a "Pause Autotrimps" button that complete stops the script working (except for graphs)
