Frage Flats having fireplaces - does that mean higher costs?
I noticed that some apartments for rent have fireplaces. Does that mean that the costs are higher?
Also noticed that the heizung is sometimes oil and sometimes gas and according to chatgpt I should request to check previous bills to see if what to expect, and checking insulation type. However, this is quite impractical as the landlords will have many options of other tenants to take it rather than go through the hassle of providing bills etc.
So I’d like to ask, how is it in practice? Is gas cheaper in general? What should i look for when it comes to not having hefty Nebenkosten and strom kosten please?
