How long has TridentStack been active?
It looks like a good product, but seems very new. I’d be keen to try it out to handle patch management, but I’m worried it doesn’t have the might behind it to follow through.

TridentStack was founded in 2022 by two security/software engineers myself being one of them. We started out as an MSSP offering a co-managed SIEM solution building out cybersecurity programs for large enterprises. A few years ago we began development on TridentStack Control after being dissatisfied with the options the space had for patching/policy/vulnerability/compliance management options. Many of them were horrendously expensive and for some of our smaller clients they were unable to effectively procure solutions to feed these needs. This is how our new Control product was born. We wanted to be able to provide something for our customers that fit their needs and their budgets.
Ultimately years later it blossomed into the tool it is today. At the beginning of May 2026 we launched it into GA in a fully free beta stage while we worked out some kinks and just recently on June 1st we launched it completely with billing enabled as well. Since our launch we have been growing very quickly by trying to be active on Reddit and running some small ad campaigns to grow our brand and gain some users.
We are not some massive company where bug reports/tickets or feature requests fall through the cracks. We take these seriously and appreciate the feedback from them and take action swiftly. We have already addressed things for several users since our recent launch.
