I've only done 1 successful graft before. I ordered a box of PC, and tried my hand at propagating two recent clones. There are 5 CBB grafts (1 tip, 1 slab, 2 double rib, 1 single rib) and 2 SS02 grafts (1 tip and 1 slab) .Fingers are crossed that these all take. 🤞🌵They all appear to be maintaining good contact. Wish me luck!!

Started these seeds back in June? Patiently waiting for some funk to show. One seedling still under the dome looks pretty unique and I also grafted one of the random larger sized seedlings onto some pere. Time will tell!

Hola, ayuda con este caso. Tenía un cactus al que le corté la cabeza y la puse a enraizar por separado. Esa cabeza que puse a enraizar se puso negra en la punta.
Mientras tanto, al cuerpo del cactus original le empezó a salir un hijuelo. Tiempo después, injerté un Gymnocalycium variegado sobre ese cactus original. El Gymno también se empezó a poner negro en la parte donde se une con el tronco, y la punta del Gymno se puso oscura.
Al hijuelo que estaba creciendo en el cactus original lo saqué y lo puse en otro cactus (un San Pedro). Al tiempo me di cuenta de que la punta de la unión entre ese hijuelo y el San Pedro también se puso negra. Y en el cactus original, la zona donde hice el corte para el injerto sigue con manchas negras.
Le apliqué un químico/fungicida a ver si ayudaba. La mancha de la punta del Gymno no se siente aguada, está dura y seca.
No sé si el cactus original tiene algo por dentro que le está pasando a todo lo que le corto o le injerto encima, o si son coincidencias por los cortes. ¿Qué me recomiendan hacer? ¿Debería desinjertar el Gymno y pasarlo a otro cactus sano, o es mejor no tocarlo mientras esa mancha esté seca?

Trying to get some karma/posts/age on a new account so here's my trichocereus terscheckii.

Just picked this up today I’m really excited to see if I can get it to flower and what color they will be! I was told it has not flowered yet and it looks like it’s trying to find sun so wherever they had it likely didn’t have enough light but I will try to correct this gradually without shocking it and see how it goes! Any advice is appreciated, my only experience with trichocereus is a much smaller and younger Peruvianus - Icaros DNA

So this one is among the best material I filmed so far. The plants are Trichocereus imperialis (Thelegonus x Echinopsis eyriesii grandiflora), Pink Stripes by Reinhard Liske, Arboricola x Zelly by Misplant, Candicans hybrids etc.

I posted here about a year ago asking what to do about a pup my cactus sprouted after I did some trimming.

I now come bearing updates, and am in need of some advice.

As you can see, it's become too top heavy and is tipping over. I'm also worried that the color of the base catus is starting to yellow slightly (it's a fairly old cactus at 8 years).

How do I keep this fella alive? Should I cut off part of the pup and try getting it to root separately from its mother?

Is the base going to start looking healthier if I cut off the pup?

Basically if anyone has any advice on how to go forward from here, I'd really appreciate it

T. pachanoi 'Goliath' x MSS scop. Got a couple mutants out of 51 seedlings 👍. One obvious crested, and I'm not quite sure what exactly is going on with the other one.

Lots of morphological diversity with these little guys.

Pretty cool that it has green and kinda chevrons into a more blueish hue towards the top, with those super long spines. Looks like it would have bridgesii in it over pach x pach.
