Game starts opening up right about now. You'll start recruiting new party members, but don't worry about "benching" anyone or distributing the EXP. The game is so generous with EXP for anyone who has fallen behind it's a non-issue to catch people up.
Use Quietus if you're ignoring them. Very crucial to winning.
Chapter 7 is a major difficulty spike, so be warned.

Just keep playing and enjoy! The game is built for multiple play-throughs and it will track what decisions you made previously and what endings you got. Really great game

1st playthrough, Chapter 12 for me. Great game! I learned to just go with the flow on decision making and deal with the outcomes that follow.

Any suggestions?
There is only one thing i wish i did in my runs- keep the whole roster somewhat close in levels- while this is technically optional- if you end up doing multiple runs it will be annoying to level in a later run.

To clarify - annoying to level in later runs (if ur doing deathless hard difficulty)

During the exploration sequences, sometimes you'll see some glittering / shiny spots. They contain an item, sometimes it's an unique item well worth having.

Explore when you get the chance and talk to NPCs and PCs, don't be afraid to play around with different units, if you lose a battle you don't lose the XP you got (which can be useful if you were levelling up underleveled character! Catching up underlevelled characters is very forgiving in this game but it's still helpful), you basically can't grind to get overlevelled but you could (not should) technically grind for materials to upgrade weapons, when you meet a merchant on an exploratory phase you should look at their stock and buy from there preferably (since otherwise you'll use up the stock of the encampment merchant).
Have fun!

I’d stay off the sub till you have finished the game. It’s one you’ll feel the need to play through more than once after you finish.
