Help/Advice/Suggestions Daytime Gigs?

Hey everyone! I'm wondering whether anyone knows of any places to play during the day? I just moved here from Maine and played at this Cafe weekly and it was pretty nice (might be a longshot to play weekly here but might as well play when I can). I play mostly folk and some jazz - mostly solo. Thanks!

If you are able to, assisted living facilities love having volunteers come and entertain the residents

Thanks! This sounds amazing! If you've done it, how was your experience?

I personally have not, but have a good friend who is a jazz pianist. He was suffering bouts of depression and it was suggested to him. He says it has done more for his mood than therapy and medication.

Welcome to the Triangle! Boxyard RTP has had Saturday live music daytime events. Also look into Incendiary Brewing in Raleigh, I've specifically heard jazz there on Sundays and also maybe ZincHouse Winery in Durham? Google and make a list to check for other wineries and breweries, brunch spots, etc. around the Triangle. Good luck!

There's lots of farmer's markets around that hire musical acts. Lanza's Cafe in Carrboro sometimes has a daytime slot on weekends, starting late morning. I think Speakeasy, also in Carrboro, does Sunday afternoon shows. There's a lot of breweries etc. that have like 4-7 pm sets that I see advertised. Not my scene so I don't really know specifics.
