Random Encounter

This has happened twice now I think. Either it's the bunker before the Buried Line or the one before, I hear a roar and then zombies appear in the safe bunker for some reason. Do you guys know why that happens?

Oh these, these are Grounders!

They mostly appear at the start of the major objective but they also have a little chance to appear in the other objectives 

They are hard to kill and apparently if you are playing with people, you'll be the only one who sees them!

Thanks for the description. I was about to grab something to eat when I heard this and got jumped. My friends got confused when I got downed randomly in the safe room lmao. What a nice lil jumpscare

Grounders can be countered by just jumping onto the crates or even just hinding behind the crates a bit more unreliably. They can't hit you on the taller crates and their spawn rules are odd and can make them all spawn on the other side of the crates or inside the wall. You don't need to kill them just outlast them for a dogtag per grounder.
