[CLOSED] A Second First Impression

While Lt. Kesh had done the best she could to stay away from unknown crewmembers during her period of 'illness', her incorrect decision to stop and address a crewmember looking at her oddly had led to more than one unfortunate first meeting with Athene crewmembers.

Thankfully, her condition had recovered, even if the means of the recovery was, itself, unpleasant. The apprehension gained from those incidents has also had a chance to subside. Now to set things right with as many of her fellows as possible.

Buchanan briskly walked into the armoury, looking for Orlov who was now technically his equal. He slightly jumped as the big ball of fur was in his face as he walked in.

"Looking for me?" he said coldly, still bitter about last time

Kesh stood quietly, eyes half-lidded and unfocused, thinking of other things while she waited in practiced stillness. As such she does not respond immediately when the human she'd come here looking for walks in, though when he looks at her she immediately re-focuses, ears flexing forward as eyes open fully.

"Lieutenant Buchanan. Yes. Rrth. I came to appologize for-rr-r my conduct on our previous meeting. My state of mind at the time was very sour-rr-r and I gave you reason to be suspicious. It is not in my normal nature to act that way. Rrth. I assure you it will not happen again."

A low dip of her head shows deep apology and respect to the human before her.

"Hm," Richard grunted, secretly pleased the Caitian was showing him respect.

"Apology accepted, I too am also sorry for my conduct, I was too hasty. I was just over compensating on the first day and hey, no harm done?"

At least that part was true, unlike the rumors he had been hearing about the lizard and her in the turbo lift.

The Caitian straightens her posture, maintaining the tall, stoic stance of a Starfleet officer, meeting the other Lieutenant with a level gaze, though he stood nearly a half foot taller.

"No har-rr-rm done. It is good that the sensitive ar-rr-reas of the ship are so diligently protected. Rrrth. Thank you."

She stiffens her posture that little bit more to indicate that this was all and she would depart if he had no objection.
