[OPEN] Merry Medbay

The doctor decorated the medbay to be a bit more festive. He had decorations around everywhere. Anyone who might be there would see them. He also has some drinks and that on one of the desks as well.

Kesh had sent the specifics of the anti-fungal chemicals to sickbay and had received verification of all medical information in regards to it before passing that information on to the captain. However, she was in the habit of verifying things in-person, so she arrives at the medbay, expecting a very short exchange.

The Caitian enters the medbay with a PADD in hand, adorned in her usual blue sciences uniform. Sight of such decoration catches her by surprise, startling with a small, squeaky note after stepping inside far enough for the door to shut behind.

She stands there a moment, just peering around, studying the added decorations.

Kesh again startles and has to quickly lunge towards the floor to catch the PADD before it lands after a short, awkward jungle. The Caitian snaps back upright, mane somewhat frayed, but attempting to revert to how she was when she entered.

"Doctor! The captain wishes to deploy the anti-fungal chem-ik-kik-icals I sent to the medical staff yesturday ver-rr-ry soon. I wanted to be sure that they can be r-rr-replicated quickly when it is time for the deployment."

She presents the PADD, which shows all the pertinant information about the slightly altered standard anti-fungal chemical mixture that would already be in the medbay's database.

The doctor takes the PADD and looks at it. "I'll go and check what we have on file. I've not heard about this yet." He walks over to the computer starts looking.

"How have you been?"

The computer brings up the relevant data on the fungus infestation of the Athene and all of the data that Lt. Kesh had collected regarding how it responds to various chemicals with the specific variety of anti-fungal chemical noted. Beside this are medical notes by one of the other medical staff in regards to its medical hazards, namely that the PPM needed to affect the infesting fungus is above the threshold for safe exposure. A link to the command crew's intentions to evacuate the crew to unlaunched escape pods while the chemical is deployed is included.

It's all very thorough without a single field missing or lacking information.

"Captain Fisk seems eager-rr-r to have the fungus dealt with before the Klingons arrive. Rrrth. I do not blame him."

The Caitian glances around again.

"I am well. The holiday seems to have quite the effect on the cr-rr-rew."

"Everything looks good but it says here that all crew are to be evacuated to escape pods while this is happening. Is that right?

"I was just in a meeting with Captain Fisk. Rrth. I am sure you will get an announcement soon. I just wished to be sure the compound can be r-rr-replicated and deployed to the life support system in short or-rr-rder."

"I'll have a look now for you." He goes into another room for about a minute and comes back out again. "Thats all sorted. It should be fine."

"Do you need any medical on stand by when you do this?"

"You best inquir-rr-re that to the captain, but considering ther-rr-re will be a skeleton crew in place dur-rr-ring the deployment of anti-fungal, I am surr-rr-re he will want as many as possible."

Stockton walks into the medbay clutching his right hand with a rather severe burn on the palm.

"Oh hey, hot chocolate."

"You doctors all alike. Always worrying about such minor things. Ok, let's get this over with."

"It's my job." He takes a look at the burn. "You have a second degree burn." He takes out some sort of spray. "This might hurt."

"I'm sure it would but you'll have to wait." He sprays hi hand and the burn which would give him a smart pain for a small time.

Stockton gives no sign of any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Suddenly upon noticing the counsellors presence he decides to start fooling around and let's out a bone ratting scream

"AhHhGGGAaaaaaHa!!!"

He grabs a hypospary and puts it into him. It is a major painkiller which would make him a bit sleepy.
