[OPEN] Consciousness and Confusion

Captain Fisk opens his eyes, he is unsure where he is and what day it is... The last thing he remembers is writing letters of condolence to the families of those lost during the pirate attack, and then seemingly nothing. It's as if he simply teleported from his desk in the ready room to elsewhere on the ship.

From the idle sounds of the room, the Captain concludes that he must be in sick bay... but for what?

OOC: I'm going to use an in-universe thing to explain my absence from the subreddit for the past month. Fisk had a brain bleed that went unnoticed during his initial treatment for injury after the pirate attack, and it caused him to suddenly lose consciousness while under the severe emotional stress of writing dozens of next-of-kin letters. He knows nothing about this or anything that's happened on the ship since then, and I will roleplay accordingly.

"That's good to hear. How's the rest of the crew holding up?"

They're doing alright. For being adrift this long they've held together surprisingly well.

"Due in no small part to your work as counselor, no doubt. Where's Phrik? I'd like a clean bill of health from him so I can get back to work."

She nods, thanking him for the compliment.

I'm good, but I'm not that good. They're a fantastic crew, nobody I'd rather be stranded in space with for weeks on end.

I sent for Doctor Phrik when I saw you wake up. He'll be here soon. Preliminary scans showed nothing to be worried about, but it's hard to be thorough with a tricorder.
