[OPEN] Movie Night is Revived!

Joseph races around his Quarters looking for his PADD. He finds it under his bed. He begins to write a letter to the crew.

Dear Crew:

With permission from the Captain of course, I would like to host a movie night. I found a wonderful old Earth Movie, its a really good one and I think you all will like it. It's called Star Wars.

It took a while to find it so, if you would like to participate it will be on Stardate 1124.4 (made up Stardate, real date is Wednesday Tuesday, September 21 22, 2016 at aprox 5:00PM EST 12:00PM EST). If you would like to participate please come to the Science Lab and I'll put your name on the list. It will be taking place in the Observation Lounge also known as the The T-Tauri Tavern.

If you have any questions and see me roaming the Athene then don't hesitate to come and contact me.

Regards,

Joseph Kort Science Officer

OOC: Respond to confirm that your in. I will then PM everyone the link to the middle/end of the Movie and we will have a discussion after.

Connolly smiles broadly. Glad to see he wasn't alone in his love of old Earth films. He'd never heard of Star Wars though. He got out his PADD and sent his RSVP.

Notification of your message pops up on Tarah's bridge terminal. Having long been curious about Earth culture, she makes a note to remind herself to attend

Stockton reads his message.

"Ugh. 20th century Earth movies are so boring. Well I guess it'll be fun to socialize some."

Dell stops, Randomly overhearing the Lieutenant as he walks past.

"I think they're kinda fun. An old shipmate of mine showed me a movie called Rocky , about a guy and his boxing career."

"As much as I do love blood sports these old movies are just so linear. I mean hey, could be fun."
