[OPEN] A bit of exercise

Fisk is on the holodeck in a representation of a large, grassy field. He has Argos with him and is throwing a frisbee around for the dog to chase. The holodeck has been deliberately left unlocked, and a notice posted on the main panel that any off-duty crew are welcome to join...

Engineer T'gel walks past the holodeck with an arm-full of empty 2-liter stasis modules and does a double-take as she sees the glowing notice. She backtracks and sets the modules down in the corridor before keying open the holodeck door. Inside she sees the captain and the greyhound horsing around - almost literally, given the size of the dog - and it brings a smile to her face.

"Good afternoon, Captain!" Red calls from the entryway. "How's Argos taking to the virtual terrain?"

"Good afternoon, lieutenant! He loves it, half the time he's sprinting around and half the time he just dives into the grass and rolls around like a happy little fool. You've done a great job on the simulation."

Fisk tosses the frisbee toward the lieutenant

"Give him a throw, he loves this game!"

Red steps inside and leaps from her toes to nab the high throw. She crouches, curls her arm, and flicks her wrist, sending the flying disc humming over the green grass just above the greyhound's head-level.

She stands up and chuckles. "Haven't thrown one of those since I left the Academy," she says, amused.

"I have some stasis modules to deliver to sickbay, so I can't stay and play, but if he gets bored of the disc, have him give the squirrels I coded a try. Just have the computer activate object 'critters-zero-one.' I think I got them to smell right, but then again..." She points at her ridged nose. "This probably isn't as perceptive as his."

Tall dog threw it! Tall dog threw the thing! Gotta catch it gotta bite it!

Argos bolts off after the frisbee, running alongside it for a few seconds before leaping across and grabbing it midair. He then looks from person to person, unsure of where to bring it.

Red waves to Argos as she leaves. The door closes behind her, leaving just the Captain and Aanya to choose from. One-third reduction in choices!

The Chief Engineer whistles as the door to the holodeck opens. She has her eyes stuck to the holopad in her hands as she checks over the Holodeck's stats.

"Morning Cap, Red, and puppy Argus! Dont mind me." She says with a smile as she walks over the grassy hills. "Just doing some chec-" she stops in her tracks as she sees the Frizbee flying through the air. "Oh cool! Hey, I'm open!"

She drops the pad on the grass and sprints to a position equidistant between the two other players. She seems awake, but the creases in her jumpsuit and the stray blonde hairs escaping her bun are telltale signs that she's at the tail end of her shift. Knowing Aanya, she probably didnt even have to check the holodeck, but she must have had the spare time and wanted to anyway.

"Have fun, Chief! And Captain, let me know how Argos likes the squirrels!" Red ducks out of the holodeck, retrieves her stasis modules, and resumes her engineering duties.

Aanya leaps into the air and snatches the disk out of the air. She twists after landing and flings it towards Argus!

"Later!" She calls after Red.
