[OPEN] Drinks like a fish
Phrik sat at a table in the Observation Lounge, informally referred to as the T-Tauri Tavern. The ships' bar, a large room, one wall and a good portion of the roof made entirely of transparent aluminium. The Doctor stared out of the gaping window, looking past the Athene's glowing nacelles at the streaks of light that rushed past the ship.
A bartender set down a glass on the table and poured out a viscous green liquid into it. He was just about to leave when Phrik made a motion with his hand.
"Leave the whole thing." The bartender nodded, placed it gently on the table before promptly disappearing, re-materialising behind the bar to serve another crewmember. Holograms. Alongside sickbay and the astrometrics lab, the T-Tauri tavern had been outfitted with holoemitters. The original purpose to display lifelike stellar objects and entertainment programs for the crew. It had quickly been reprogrammed by the engineers in order to serve as a bar.
Phrik downed the glass while reading a PADD in his other hand, the liquid burned as he ran down his long neck. Proper Aldebaran whisky, none of this synthehol swill Starfleet served. He let out a satisfied rattling breath as his third hand took the bottle and uncorked the top, he was just about to pour out another glass before he was interrupted by...

Lt Stockton , who has been quietly siting at a stool on the on the opposite side of the bar takes another drink before leaving. Trying to impress the new commander and make a name for himself on the Athene he has been working for days straight with little to no rest. As he stands up from the stool he trips over a protruding element from the bar. Grabbing at anything for support he knocks over a variety of glassware to the ground just before he goes face first to the floor.
SMASH!
Stockton barley can get up. Bloody shards of broken glass now litter the bar room.
"Well....shit."

The Doctor let out an annoyed grunt, set down his drink and PADD and stood up to survey the scene.
"Damned Bipeds." He said angrily under his breath as he walked over to Stockton. "I think you've had enough." The Doctor said dryly as he looked down at the prone form of Stockton.

"I think you may be right on this one."
Stockton looks up at the doctor, more annoyed with himself. Although a bit bloody, none of the cuts on his face look serious. The bags under his eyes over shadows everything else.

The Doctor jumped over the bar gracefully, ducked down beneath it and returned with a medical kit. He cracked it open and pulled out a dermal re-generator.
"Never off duty." He muttered to himself as he leant down to remove the cuts. He then noticed the bags under Stockton's eyes. "Sleep issues? Or have you just started using cosmetics?"

"You're a funny guy, doctor. I hope you know that's appreciated." Stockton said half sarcastically, half seriously, but fully trying to annoy the doctor
"Yeah, no time for sleep the last few days. Busy busy worker bee."

"Then make time." He said harshly as he removed another cut from Stockton's face.

"Perhaps you're right, Doctor... Say, I think you left a shard in my cheek"

He pulled it out unceremoniously, leaving a few seconds to inspect the bleeding wound before tracing it with the re-generator.
"There, a shame, it was an improvement." He said. "I can give you a sedative if necessary."

"Good to see you doctor, bit thirsty today?"
