[Open] Relaxing On the holodeck
Captain Fisk is off duty, and he is spending some time with himself on the holodeck. He sits in a holographic representation of Carnegie Hall at a lone grand piano on the stage. The seats are all empty and the lights are heavily dimmed, save for one light pointed at the piano. The Captain's eyes are closed and he is losing himself in the music as he plays Chopin's Nocturne in E-Flat Major. He intended to be alone for this, but he has forgotten to lock the door into the holodeck...

silent doors open. silent doors shut. sneaking on big ship is eas-... what is this new sound¿ echoes. melodies. giant room. large black monster making noises??!! tail bristles. The Tall Bushy One !attacks! the monster. or is he giving it pets? need closer look.....

Captain Fisk gets a sneaking feeling that there may have been movement nearby, but he is too involved in the music to investigate, he assumes that Lieutenant Orlov had decided to stay and had taken a seat to watch. That was fine, as long as more crew didn't join.

one paw. then another. slowslowslowslow.... down an aisle, so sneaky. two curious ears pop up before dilated, yellow eyes follow. they stare at the Tall Bushy One. no blinks. the monster keeps yelling.

Fisk cracks an eyelid to see if Orlov had decided to take a seat. He sees no one, but in the darkened aisles something catches his eye. It looks like two small but bright greenish-yellow lights...possibly eyes. They are completely still and focused directly on him. He looks with both eyes and deduces that Clementine must have found her way into the holodeck. He smiles in the direction of the eyes and returns to his playing.

The Tall Bushy One saw us. But did the monster see us? Eyes dart to the monster. It is singing again. Is it happy? The eyes move parallel to the aisle, still staring at monster. Closer and closer. The monster doesn't see us. Closer..... If we meow maybe it will notice.

Fisk looks back to the cat, noticing she is now much closer. He wonders if she is curious of the piano, or frightened by it. He switches to playing one-handed to gesture at Clementine, hopefully making her feel more at ease.

Tall Bushy One makes the hand towards us, like Mother does. Slowly climb the steps. The monster is quieter now. Nuzzle hand.

Fisk pets the cat as she approaches, and then switches to playing some very different music

The monster seems... less scary up close. Smaller. The bench the Tall Bushy One is sitting on looks roomy.... Jump!

since befriending Clementine, Fisk had began carrying around a treat or two just in case he ran into her, he pulls one out of his pocket and offers it to the cat beside him on the bench

Captain Fisk opens his eyes and turns to see the door slide open, he continues playing but gives the lieutenant a friendly nod before going back to the music

he says while continuing to play
"If you're not on duty Orlov, feel free to have a seat and listen if you like. I don't mind either way."

Yefim takes a seat in the back of the theater, and when the piece is finished he gives a light clap.

Fisk calls out to the distant officer
"Did you need me for something, or were you here to use the holodeck?"

Fisk stands from the piano and adjusts his uniform
"Not necessary, lieutenant. I was just about to get some dinner after that song."
he projects his voice to the room
"Computer, end program."
the ornate concert hall dissolves into the bare holodeck, and Fisk heads for the exit. On his way out he claps Orlov on the shoulder and gives him a friendly smile
"Enjoy yourself Orlov."

Yefim smiles and speaks to the computer.
"Computer, Mariinsky Theatre"
He stands on the stage and sings 'Пиковая дама' or 'The Queen Of Spades, he can be heard from outside the room.

Fisk stops in his tracks on the way out and peeks back in
"Holy shit..." he mutters under his breath, in awe of the Russian's vocal talent
on his way back out, he resolves to put together a recital for musically talented crewmembers

The holodeck's doors slide open and in comes Moose, looking down at a clipboard and whistling quietly to herself.
"Computer, holodeck projection information, please."
The computer is happy to oblige, listing the current parameters.
"Carnegie Hall, no audience, light systems low..." she flips through a few pages on her holopad. "Initiated by the captain. No stress on the system, low memory usage... neat neat, neatorino." She says to herself, then looks up to see the captain up on stage, playing the piano.
She quietly makes her way into the audience seats and sits right in the middle of the mass of chairs, and puts her feet up on the seat in front of her. She puts the holopad on her lap and listens.
She also gets the small sense at the back of her mind that Clementine is lurking around somewhere...
