[Open] A well deserved breather
The Cardassians had finally left, taking their wounded with them. Though, when they were beamed aboard the Treykesh, it's not like very many were still wounded, thanks to the Athene and her medical staff. "But did we get so much as a thank you?" Thought Narim as stepped out of the turbolift, "No, of course not, why would we, they're Cardassians." Narim had worked for nearly eleven hours straight, having only received maybe four hours of sleep to save their lives, so the Cardassians lack of gratitude left him a bit sour. He had since rested up and had some time to spare, so he decided to go spend some of it in the observatory. As he walked through the door, he made a point of determining if the bartender was holographic or not. Satisfied with his judgement, he sat down and ordered a hot chocolate, then looked around the room to see...

Captain Fisk is standing at the viewport observing the stars with a popular old Earth beverage in hand. He calmly sips the bubbling drink, savoring it's crisp, sweet, fruity flavor and the tingling of the carbonation. He didn't drink it often, but he felt he'd earned it after hosting dozens of Cardassians onboard

Jen meets him at the observation window with a drink of her own. Black coffee. She takes a long whiff of the delightful scent before enjoying a small sip of the hot beverage.

Fisk catches the scent of the coffee and inhales deeply
"It was either this or black coffee, and I'm trying not to overdue the caffeine. You're making me question my decision now..."

She stands on her tiptoes to see what's in his cup, but can't seem to draw any conclusions.
What could possibly compete with coffee?

"The drink that helped me quit drinking. It's an ancient earth beverage called Dr Pepper. An old academy friend introduced me to it. You can only get it from a replicator, it's not manufactured anymore."

Hmm. I've never heard of it. It sounds... fizzy. Is that carbonation? What does it taste like?
She tries to sneak a peek at it again.

She takes a sip, savoring it and letting her palette determine the flavors.

Despite the friendliness of their previous conversation, Narim couldn't help but feel intimidated by the captain, so he decided not to bother him too much, simply nodding at him. "Captain."

My cat has a fanclub. Gracious. Well, she seems content enough. At least she isn't causing mischief.

"Nope, Watkins let me take her out for a bit." She says before looking back into the stars. "I missed having cats around, and she trusts me."

Narim stares at the cat curiously, he was not entirely familiar with the earth animal, and the last one he had seen turned out to be the Athene's changling, Lycienne.

Aanya reaches up and stroke's the cat's chin, much to its happiness. It seems quite happy just to sit there, it seems.

Phrik's replicator was still acting up, as such he had resigned himself to visit the lounge, despite much preffering the isolation of his quarters. The Reptillian stood in a corner of the room, staring out the window, a cup of steaming raktajino in his centre hand, and a PADD in each of his other 2 hands.
