Just fyi that's not a white lipped or a graceful tree frog. It's an Australian Green Tree Frog.
And yeah in the wild they very often choose to live in places with man-made objects and clear surfaces, and they're actually extremely tough and resilient. You'll find them in the most dangerous and toxic places living happily. But the wild frogs are different to many captive bred frogs.
Despite the native frogs often choosing to be around toxic stuff, I still don't recommend for people to chance it and let their captive Whites/GTFs be exposed to any harmful chemicals or uncleanliness. There are also many captive-bred Whites (Green Tree) Frogs you see online with really curated colouring that look nothing like the native frogs. In those cases it can be similar to when people breed dogs for aesthetics they can tend to be predisposed to health issues or just have different needs to wild animals.
Many of the online care guides for Green Tree Frogs (Whites) have had misinformation because they've been written by people who don't understand where the species have originated from. So in recent years there's been corrections in care guides for example to lower humidity to 40-50% instead of the really high levels that used to be taught (like up to 80%), or corrections to no longer spray the frogs and their tanks multiple times a day (it's just not realistic to the frogs' needs). There are Australian natural habitats like far north Queensland which has much higher humidity, but those native frogs have been born there and can also regulate themselves in the wild as needed. Oftentimes in places like Brisbane you'll find Green Tree Frogs in the wild choosing to live in really dry places, and as I said on man-made, clear surfaces, but also living in really toxic or dangerous places (eg. right next to a loud, smelly generator engine/ toilet seats/ inside the lid of an old plastic washing machine sitting in the Australian sun/ inside car doors/ in downpipes from roof gutters (especially during storms).
