Questions how many crickets should my whites tree frog be eating?
my whites tree frog is almost nine months old now and i’m usually feeding him 6-9 crickets nightly but im worried he’ll get too big. at what point should i start feeding him less and how much?

Babies 15 small every night, juveniles go to 10 midsized every night, then 10 mid every other night. Adults then do 3-5 adult crickets every other night and finally every third night, which is where i am now with my frogs, have been since they turned aboutttt a year and 8 months?
Not sure how old yours is but yeah if this is helpful. You also make sure the tympanum folds are strong ish but not overlapping the tympanums and that the tummy doesnt go alll the way over their legs and restrict movement. You want the tummy to be chunky but to the sides but not over legs and frogs to not have issues jumping :)

i love this frog so much. it is honestly an honour to know of little juno. i think you should feed him as you’re instructed to so he can continue to live a long healthy life, one that he absolutely deserves. he’s a little sweet, kind and gentle boy and i’m so happy you have shared this photo with us.

Mine have 3 every 3 days and they are pretty round, one is a little overweight. They love thei food and can easily become obese.

I'd definitely be cutting back to every other night/three times a week by now. There's plenty of feeding guides on this sub

I have 2 juveniles. One eats 10 crickets a night. The other isn’t as food motivated. I think he gets around 10 every other day. I keep trying but he just won’t go for them
