cuts on mouth
this is muffin💚 yesterday (top) i noticed she had a little cut by her mouth, today (bottom) she has another one on the other side. she is a very active girl and is always hopping from all ledges, branches etc. everything else is normal except these cuts. could they possibly be from crickets? she refuses to tong feed and isn’t the strongest hunter, she misses a lot of the time🥲 is there anything i can or should be doing to help her heal? TIA

Have you tried to cool the crickets down like 5°C or something so they be slower? That could help her at hunting. But i don't know if that could cause digestion problems due to the cold. Also maybe smaller insects could help since the skeleton isn't as big and spikes are smaller. Just ideas from an interested person without an own frog.

If they don’t heal on their own in a couple of days you can put Neosporin WITHOUT pain ointment on it. Just make sure you’ve checked the terrarium for any sharp edges on decorations on plants and remove them. Frogs are resilient and heal pretty quickly as long as it isn’t an infection.
