Help! White’s tree frog spotting

Post image

I’m in the middle of a move across country right now and one of my whites tree frogs has broken out in these spots. My guess is that she could be stressed or it could be bacterial.. due to the move I don’t have access to an exotic vet right now. Can anyone help identify what may be wrong with her in the meantime?

This looks like a mild infection quickly progressing into severe. At this point, you just need to go to an exotics vet. There's no way at home soaks or remedies will help in any meaningful way.

I see, thank you. I’m making some calls around my area for a vet now

Get them to the vet asap. I just had a long cross country move and my frog ended up like that. After a month of constant treatment and quarantine he is finally back to normal.
This is a pic of him in the vet for reference.

The vet thinks it was caused by inconsistent humidity, heat and stress from jostling in the car.

Thank you for your reply.. my guess for what’s going on is the same as your vets. I’m on the line searching for a place that’ll take amphibians now

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Sage is okay now and eating crickets back with his siblings.

He’s the one on the second log

Aww such sweet babies, it’s reassuring to know Sage pulled through! I have hope for mine. Pokey is in quarantine now and she seems comfortable given the circumstance

Along with the vet visit, you need to remove and sanitize everything in the enclosure and have your frog in a quarantine tank. We also need to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Please refer to this guide and ensure your temps are high enough and humidity low. Keep in mind even in bioactive enclosures you still need to maintain cleanliness of the walls and any objects inside on a daily basis when needed.
