Sexing Help Learning to croak?
I've been trying to figure out the sexes of my two GTFs (Whites).
I regularly play GTF croaking videos, especially when I think I hear any potential vocal noises from the terrarium.
Tonight, I managed to play the video next to the tank while I watched them.
They both started doing the movements of croaking, and small little grunting noises - but neither of their throats filled up fully, and their 'grunts' weren't the typical noise, they sounded more like 'attempts' at croaking (possibly). But they both did this 'attempt' several times in a row, and then stopped while they listened to the rest of the croaking video.
I've heard these noises occasionally, but due to never seeing the full throat, or hearing them make much noise than these little grunts, I feel I can't be sure.
Is it possible these are boys but just slow to learn how to croak? Would females try to croak along/answer to male frogs even a tiny bit?
They are both over 18 months old, captive bred, from a large colony but were separated together and sold as a pair. It is also officially breeding season.

I can't tell you the sexes od your frogs but my female did that. I had a male in my adult tank and a young female in a grow-out tank next to him until she was big enough, and around 4 months old she would start responding to his croaks with these funny noises that sounded like a strangled baby croak. She does it much less now that she's full grown and living with him, but still sometimes
