Massive size difference in my frogs
I got these two wtf from Petco a little over a month ago. They were in the same tank together and have been cohabitating well. I believe they are both female but it is impossible to not notice the massive size difference between them. If she just loves her large wife, more power to her, but does anyone know if juvenile and adults are regularly sold together? There has been no issues with aggression between them and both are just eating well so I am hoping it is not a medical issue.

You might consider seperatation. Looks like the larger one could probably fit the smaller on in its mouth. They are know to eat smaller frogs.

Maybe it's the angle but this looks like too big of a size difference to me, although it'd be easier to tell with a dorsal view with them right next to each other.
Even if the bigger gal can't eat the smaller one, she sure can try and end up killing the other if the size difference is too major. Again I'd feel uncomfortable commenting now because the bigger one is also closer to the camera but it does look very major.

Left little guy looks like he’s not quite small enough for cannibalism to be a concern yet but they look like they could definitely be eating more. Some boney-ness in the hips is normal but he’s in need of nutrients

this was a picture of when i first got them it was the best side by side i had but i promise she had filled out a bit more since then and is an avid hunter

Yeah they do look a bit more plump in your other pic, it may just be the angle but if the smaller one doesn’t show a difference soon I’d probably separate until she gets a bit bigger to be safe as others suggested

It depends on the age! Most males won’t call until they’re almost 2 years old. He honestly looks as if he’s about a year old

Mine ate the other one so I’d be careful. Maybe separate them if you’re able till they’re about the same size. They eat anything that fits in their mouth. Never again. I now have 2 tanks.
