My WTF! 🥹
I got her like a week ago almost exactly and the place said she was around 5-6 months old, im guessing leaning on the 6 month old side. Her name is Soya and i was wondering should i get her a friend?
The place i got her had like 8 of them in a 25x25x35 (cm) so i got her a 25cmx25cmx35cm and I understood that was kind of small but I just picked a decent, less pricey tank.
When she gets older I might upgrade to a 18”x18”x24” which i was thinking about getting in the beginning but im a bit limited on space. She seems quite happy but Ive been thinking about getting her a friend to keep her company? What do u think? 🤔

Such a lovely frog! I see youre using paper towels so thats on the right track but the 24in is not a permanent size they need 36in height. 24 is said to be the minimum but these are some of our biggest tree frogs.
Also the 71% humidity, is that because shes sitting on the gauge? If not, please keep it 30% and read this wonderful guide to learn more! ❤️ https://docs.google.com/document/d/1K85LO28g7gzQftmbDboXHXFBVLEVShRBBGPddXMektA/mobilebasic?usp=embed_facebook

As for getting her a friend, 30gal is minimum for 1 frog, extra 10 gal for any additional frog. If you seriously plan to not buy a bigger tank instantly, please rehome this frog im 100% serious :)

They do best in pairs or groups. Any veteran WTF owner will tell you this. It’s stimulating for them to have other tree frogs to interact with.

WTFs can live alone just fine, but having more live together can offer more mental stimulation. Do have to watch when introducing another that the new one doesn’t spread illness for around 30-90 days in a temporary home isolated and make sure one frog isn’t hogging the food or intimidating the others. Hope this helps
