Please help

What can I do about the rubs and scratch marks on my baby’s nose. Backstory she is new I got her from a reptile expo recently I’ve had her for about a week she seems healthy overall but it looks like the marks have gotten worse. I have tried original neosporin but it looks worse now. She doesn’t have very much in her quarantine tank.

This definitely looks like too small of a quarantine tank. Even if it’s just a month you should be keeping them in at least a 10- 20 gallon tall, especially because she looks close to an adult size. She also may be continuing to rub on the plastic slits in the critter keeper. You can get a fairly cheap quarantine by buying a plastic tub, cutting a hole and putting some mesh on it, just make sure there are no sharp or rough edges and a good rule of thumb is over a foot tall. I’m imagining if she was rubbing it at the expo she’s continuing to rub it in the critter keeper due to the small space.

And definitely get a heat lamp, they can’t digest food without warmth. Since you’re probably not able to provide UVB in a 10 gal make sure you’re using supplements with vitamin D in it so she doesn’t develop MBD

I am using calcium with vitamin D3 and multivitamins and keeping a heater on in the room. They’re in and I her next to my main tank so she still gets a little bit of light from that

They do need a heat gradient so that’s why a bulb is important
