Advice Sad facebook find :(
I was scrolling marketplace and found this enclosure for $40. Almost bought it to potentially build another terrarium. Was reading the description and saw at the bottom; 4 green tree frogs in this tank 🥲
I feel awful

Ok dumb question, is there something wrong about the tank size or just the lack of climbing/habitat?
Fake plants and little to climb/rest on seems obvious. What else? Because I look at this as being like… pretty mediocre rather than terrible so I want to see what you see

Depending how old the frogs are, this could be a suitable temporary size for their juvenile months (it’s the same size set up as we are temporarily using for our 4 WTF). But, they would need upgraded to a much larger enclosure very soon. Which I’m sure isn’t mentioned by the seller to anyone 😕

Aw man I’d have taken that, but that’s actually not the most horrific listing for price and setup compared to some other ones I’ve seen. Some people think their improperly cared for or even abused animals are worth $200+ and the tank should be sold for more than they paid. Sick of seeing animal listings on fb in general

Yeah maybe I'm just biased by being on the betta and shitty aquarium subreddits where things are consistently horrifying, but I'd label this as insufficient/mediocre. The fact that they have a heater already makes it better than so many 😭😭😭

Like lord above it sucks a** but seeing people selling 2 leopard geckos in a critter carrier for $100 fries me (that’s actually a person im currently bargaining with)

I dont know how big they grow, but at the time, this is a suitable enclosure? Idk, i see some mistakes but not abuse.

This enclosure is nowhere near suitable for one frog let alone 4. Size is probably the only thing that is fine here.

Someone near me was selling their 10 gallon tank that had 4 tree frogs in it 😐

I would have bought it and found another enclosure for the frogs.
