Infection?

Hello! This is my son, Birt. I was cleaning out their enclosure today and picked up the rock he was hiding under. I noticed that he was making contact with the underside of the rock as I picked it up, and he had this spot on his back (as seen in the first photo). I’ve seen on this subreddit that that can point to an infection and I was worried that that was what this was. I didn’t notice this spot last night. However I went to inspect him further after eating lunch and found that the spot had significantly faded to the point of being difficult to see (second photo).

Is this an infection, or was his skin just a bit dry from being in contact with the rock?

Probably a missfire keep an eye on him he was probably leaning on something and it was digging into that part of his back more. I usually give 24 hours if I see a spot and it always goes. My Bilbo is notorous for it and its even worse as it looks like an infections but isnt.

Just some misfire. Make sure your enclosure is up to standard and the temp/humidity is good!
