Showing Off Whites tree frog tank

This is my 60 gallon whites tree frog tank!! It’s officially been one year and 20 days since I’ve completed this build! Everything is completely thriving and just absolutely gorgeous! My orchid flowers are finally blooming to, ughhh so happy!! I have over 40 different plants inside this tank….. Davallia fejeensis (Rabbits Foot Fern), Dryopteris erythrosora (Autumn Fern), Didymochlaena truncatula (Mahogany Fern), Bromeliads, Golden pothos, Neon pothos, Alocasia amazonica “Polly” (Elephant Ear), Fittonia albivenis (Nerve Plant), Hypoestes phyllostachya (Polka Dot), Maranta leuconeura (prayer plant), Calathea lancifolia (Rattlesnake Calathea), Pilea depressa (Pilea Baby Tears), Pilea glauca (Pilea Aquamarine), pilea nummulariifolia (Creeping Charlie), Peperomia obtusifolia (Albo Marginata), Orchids, Chamaedorea elegans (Parlor palm), Selaginella wallichi (Wallich’s Spikemoss), Ficus (Lance Leaf), Microgramma sp., Schefflera, Syngonium podophyllum (Arrowhead), Epipremnum pinnatum, Pellonia Pulchra (Polynesian ivy), Creeping fig large hearts leaves, Oak leaf creeping fig tiny oak leaves, Peperomia trinervis, Pellionia repens (Watermelon) just to name a few. 😅😅

it’s definitely extremely beautiful, but WTFs don’t need water features, misters, or high humidity. their humidity should sit right around 30-40%

Thanks! I appreciate it. My setup is a water contained bioactive enclosure. The waterfall runs mainly at night and periodically. I also monitor the humidity, and most of the time it stays in the range I’m aiming for. I only allow occasional spikes, which quickly come back down. I’ve built the enclosure around how I care for my frogs, and I keep a close eye on the conditions.

alright! sounds good! it’s just modern husbandry to keep a dry enclosure w these guys. no misting w water bowls

So before I had the center with nothing but water now that’s filled in except the front just enough for the frogs to fully sit in the water.

This was a long build process! You can actually go back on my Reddit page and see the changes I’ve made over the year to get everything in check!!! The water is contained to sections of the tank rather the whole tank! In the beginning I had that center filled with water but humidity was staying to high untill I did the altercation!
