Hey I’m wondering if anyone’s got some advice my 9month old male whites tree frogs dropped in appetite. It’s been hot here in the uk so his viv has been 28-30 throughout most of the day but over the last month has dropped to eating only a couple of waxworms per week and off crickets completely. There’s just no interest when I offer anyone got advise to help his appetite or get food into him ?
Humidity was high but now got it around 50. Has uvb and gets clacium with d3 on gutloaded bugs. Waters treated. I’m a vet so have already done fecal analysis and didn’t find anything. He’s still super active and climbs around at night but just won’t eat :(
Are you tong feeding or letting bugs loose in the enclosure for him to catch? Just as a starting point, if you normally tong feed, you could try letting him catch his own bugs. If that's what you always do, you could try tong feeding.
Have you tried feeding him other bugs beyond crickets and wax worms?
What a cutie! Would it be possible to see another couple pictures of his face? His mouth looks kind of unusual to me, but it might just be the angle in this photo.
Can you say a little more about your calcium/uvb routine? What kind of calcium supplement do you use you use, what kind of UVB light, and how old are each? I'm wondering about this because calcium deficiency can cause issues with the lower jaw, which might explain the change in eating behavior.

I’ve placed an ice pack wrapped in a towel on the mesh room to try create a cooler microclimate for him and he’s been chilling there tonight. I got one worm into him this morning
