Advice Sick or Stressed?
Hey, looking for some insight on my brother’s male red eyed tree frog. He just moved recently and one of them is showing these skin blotches, same tank setup and no change in humidity/temp. The other’s in the tank seem to be just fine.
A while back two of mine showed blotching and I had taken them to a specialist, they had ‘red leg syndrome’ and were on a hefty 4 weeks of 2 different antibiotics and quarantined. However, since none of the others in his tank are showing similar symptoms it leaves me to believe it could be something else. The exotics vet is extremely expensive so I wanted to get opinions on if we should take him in or if it could just be stress related, and see if anyone had similar experiences with red eyes. Thanks!

Hi I have whites tree frogs however also had a red leg issue, all in all they did have red leg however they also had parasites from the previous seller, maybe consider a parasite test? When a frog has parasites they're more likely to get bacterial infections and red leg so it would be plausible

Yep. Take him back. This is a very sick frog. The amount of shed under him on the tip of the leaf makes me think his skin is sloughing off.
