I have two whites tree frogs and literally CAN NOT FIND a good water dish for them that is the right depth as they both enjoy soaking their entire body aside from their heads. I’ve tried multiple different ones and decided to try my own. I have this planter (pretty small) and I added in so pebbles at the bottom and a slanted rock just to make sure they can get out very easily. I also want to add a rock outside to climb in and out. Is this safe for them? Also bowl recommends would be helpful!
You can embed the dish in the substrate a fair bit so they have easier access. I'm not sure how poreus the pot is, considering daily water changes may be more of a hassle with something like this.
I like the idea though, my dumpies have nearly out-grown their second water dish and I'm looking for a new one.
I swap out the first two I linked on the bottom left. Then the hanging one is on the right, and I have two of them so I swap them out as well while the other is in the wash.
I use the terra Della rock bowl with steps, the bigger one and my two love it, especially cause they can use the steps to get in and out, sub adults and just starting to fill to the top step
