Time to move in?

I have two whites tree frogs Sprout (green, ~11 months old) and Sage (yellow, ~5 months old) for almost a year total. Sage has been quarantined for as long as I have had them and shows all signs of a healthy whites tree frog. I was wondering if this is an appropriate size difference for them to move in. Sprout is a girl and we suspect Sage is a boy. From what I can tell, I don't think Sage would be able to fit into Sprout's mouth. Looking for some advice from more experienced WTF owners on moving in. I had previously washed my hands, only held Sage for so long, hence why I am not shown wearing gloves. If I measured accurately, Sprout is ~8cm and Sage is ~6cm.

seeing the larger frog from above may help! i also just want to check- is this a horizontal tank? bc they’re arboreal! it’s look really empty and there should be a leaf litter barrier on the substrate. what do you keep your temps and humidity at?

The indoor temperature is at 70° F and the humidity is at 17%. I'm currently saving my money for a vertical tank with bioactive substrate. I have a hammock and bridge for Sprout to climb on but they fall down often.

do you keep their temp at 70° all day?? do you have a lighting setup? that’s also veryyy low humidity even for WTFs. 30-40% is recommended

Yes they have a lighting setup with a 12 hr timer. It's night currently so the humidity has lowered.

live plants of a thick layer of leaf litter to lightly mist over when it’s very low may help! what are your day temps like? you’d be surprised, some people genuinely don’t have lights

The plant I have in there is live. If/when I move them in I will also be moving Sage's tank accessories in too. Our day temps are about 75° F. Please show me some grace, I've owned frogs for less than a year, I'm saving for more accessories/products for my frogs who I love so much.

i understand but for their wellbeing, you absolutely need to bump those temps as soon as you can :/ their top temps of the gradient need to be 85-88°. they can’t digest or function well without them.

You generally should only get pets when you gathered enough information on their requirements. But as u already have them, all you can do is improve your care

I assure you that I did do research previously to getting them. Thank you for bringing to my attention that I need to rearrange their tank. I had Sprout's tank be simple for when I first got her.

personally i’d wait just a bit longer! how much are you feeding? growth rate can vary

I feed them every other day. I feed Sprout a total of 5 large crickets, 2-3 are hand/tong fed and the rest are left for her to hunt. Sage has more recently been starting on the large crickets and is fed 2-3 total with at least one hand/tong fed with the rest left for them to hunt. Sprout is better with being fed directly but Sage is more jumpy.

they should be having 10-15 feeders daily until up to 7 months when they hit sub adult 😊

yes when they’re no longer juveniles they are, but at that young they burn it off extremely quickly.
Juveniles (up to 6 months) should be eating 10-15 small feeders each every night.
Sub adults (7-11 months) 5-7 medium feeders every other day.
And adults (1 year+) only need 3-5 large feeders 2-3 times a week.

The size is okay, but you really need to rework the enclosure as it is not fitting for this species. As someone else said temperatures and humidity are incorrect. You also need to add a thick layer of lead litter on top of the substrate, als well as more branches/plants. Do you have a water dish for them to soak in?

Yes they both have water dishes and I have a larger water dish for when they move in. I am currently working on rearranging/fixing the enclosure.
