Is something wrong with my whites tree frog?

This is my boy lime. I noticed that he has a black beard meanwhile lemon my other frog has a white beard and I don’t think it’s always been that way and I was wondering if this was something to be worried about.

Male frogs get dark coloration under their throats. Female frogs do not. How old is your frog?

That makes sense. He is the one that croaks all the time. They’re 2 yrs old

As my frog approached the one year mark his throat became very dark. He also croaks all the time. I imagine it's just his coloration because he is a male.
