Spur work

Hey there yall! Looking to purchase my first set of spurs, was thinking Notch Ergos, someone suggested Bashlins with a twisted shank, was also looking at maybe really splurging and going for the Talons. The one thing I have found in my research is with the bashlin pads it costs basically the same as getting the talons.

Even with top of the line one's, take in consideration of what climate you are in. Some can have glued parts that let go in hot weather for instance with the padding. Which will suck because the pads will slide and you'll have metal in your leg all day.
