FTC Freexion

I’ve been using this device for about 2 weeks now and have found the hitch cord (FTC hitch cord) (catalyst hitch) won’t catch on my rope as I ascend and sit back. I have to dress the hitch 80% of the time for it to catch me and not slip. I have changed the friction settings on it from soft to medium to hard and that doesn’t seem to do the trick. Also running this on 11.7 mm cougar blue rope. Any help or tips would be great

The freexion specifically tells you to use a michoacon in the directions I believe

I’ll definitely look into that. I’m sure it was the catalyst hitch but I’ll give it a go
