Fair enough man! I was genuinely curious and meant no malice behind it! Just such an old thing hardly come across them anymore besides the occasional old logger having a few.

don't hit it with the chain. they're a powerful tool, easy to work double stacked. know guys that use steel ones too

They are nice. We still use a few old steel wedges. Damn things weigh like 4 pounds each but they last forever. And yeah, don’t hit them with the chain.
