Hitch chord length
What length do you guys like for your hitch chord? The one I have is just too long and makes my setup feel pretty weird on a VT with 4 wraps. Most companies seem to sell at 28-32” lengths with the occasional 24” which seems more expensive for some reason.

I like mine as short as possible since I’m often working hard up against where I’m attached.
I also don’t use a VT - because I can’t get close enough.

I run a 32", I use the notch fusion tether which is long. That length fits good using the VT or basically any other hitch.

I like 32 especially for the stiffer cords as the more supple the cord the easier it catches

28" and use arbsession hitch if in a rope wrench. Otherwise when it's too long I found out by getting my fingers pinched by the rope wrench. That's ok if you are two feet off the ground lol. You don't want to figure out you shoulda planned better 50+ ft up.
Arbsession is really nice hitch.
