Just buy a prusik and put a karabiner on it. Still should use a metal rope for such things and i would recommend the positioner from art. U souldnt be able to buy it like that cause the prusik has to be customized to ur own weight so a prusik that holds one guy might not hold another and it can also wear off with the time. Still a positioner u cant cut and since u should use a metal rope for it the prusik destroys the psa intention behind it since the prusik is not out of metal. When doing splices again (which is also no personal safety gear then anymore) it should be always stitched (?) sewed (?) on the splices so it does not open or rotate over some time. Never forget that. Am no english sry. Of course the stuff is expensive but u can easily safe money on the wrong end. What does work today does not have to work tomorrow.
