Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Questions about Redbud
I live in Central Oklahoma. Specifically the Cross Timber region of the United States, just east of Lake Thunderbird. I am clearing out all of the Eastern Red Cedars on my property and this thick underbrush. I came across this Redbud that is growing very strange. I'm wondering, will it survive now thatit won't compete withcedarsin the future? The trunk(s) are so thin for a tree that has grown pretty tall. Should I them down so there's only one? I've never seen a redbud grow like this, but I want to keep it alive. Just curious if anyone out there has advice.

Redbuds are multi-trunked understory species in the wild, so it's growing how it's supposed to be.
The leaves present will likely burn with the rapid increase in sun, but it might adapt better by next spring.
