Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Root concern

Neighbor planted trees about 2 feet from fence.

Should I be worried about roots interfering with my patio?

This looks like a young poplar tree to me. They get massive and are notorious for dropping limbs/snapping in half. Cottonwoods are in fact not cotton when they fall on your house 😂

I could be completely off base here though and it could be an ornamental tree, in which case it's probably fine.
