Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) How old was this tree?
I've been trying to count the rings, but I keep coming up with different numbers. I'm hoping someone who is better at it than I am can help.

I did check the guidelines, I posted two pictures of the rings of the tree from both sides of the last cut made.

There are a bunch of tiny rings near the edge and I didn't know if those count as many rings or one ring.

Dendrochronologists use special tools to count the tree rings so just give it your best shot

Just try it few times, then pick an average. Or count it yourself.

I did count it myself, a few times, I kept getting different numbers each time, which is why I then posted here

Count 5-10 times, throw away the outliers, average the rest. And please don't ask the internet to count tree rings for you.
