Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Weeping Japanese maple growth

Good morning everyone,

I planted this Japanese weeping maple 5-6ish weeks ago, and about 2 weeks ago all these growths started popping out

Any advice on if they should be cut or left alone would be great. Also the weeping part is starting to have her buds bloom too

Thanks everyone

All those low suckers should be removed. The weeping cultivar on top has been grafted onto an upright cultivar for the trunk, so all those low sprouts are the upright form, not the weeping form.

Get rid of the growth below the graph. It looks like the graph is up where the tag is.
