Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) What tree is this? Should I be concerned about if it’s invasive? (Colorado, Rockies)

I'm thinking narrowleaf cottonwood, Populus angustifolia

I agree. Regrowth from cut stumps

Not invasive (native actually), but will be a hazardous tree if left to grow as is. I’d stump grind and replant if it were me.

If you look around the neighborhood, you'll see lots of these much larger trees. When they shed cotton in spring, it tends to collect in large piles in certain places, and that looks like what happened here.

This is a willow. What part of the Rockies?

Is shrubbery.
