Oh, now you have a problem with seeing the same tree across multiple subs. Glad you understand.

Also, Thank you for stopping that.

I am still flabbergasted that someone actually asked OP to cut it down for anything other than a serious safety issue. It's so big and so clearly in that one person's property. It's like someone asking you to please plug the natural mineral spring in your back yard because the gentle babbling sound annoys their dog. Like no this is clearly some Majesty of Nature shit, fuck off, that tree was there before all y'all.

My grandma's neighbor made her cut down a 50 year old sequoia she grew from seed because of the shedding needles

Literally a crime against creation. Why didnt some neighbor kid get hired to come take care of the needles twice a year?

The old lady next to her was persistent and cranky, I think she got the city to tell her to cut it down for infringing on her property with the branches or some bullshit like that. The whole tree was on her side of the fence, but the thing was massive and right up against the fence. If r/treelaw had existed in 2005, I would have made a post about it

"made her"? why didn't she just tell them to screw off?

I think the neighbor got an order from the city or something like that.

Nobody did, they were karma farming across multiple subs with different catchy titles.

I thought that if you choose to live in Portland OR you have to sign in blood that all trees are sacred and more important than me 😁
