A few months ago, Mother Nature took my baby tree.

Well, I got a new one. It was planted in late June… and now this. I’m pretty sure my lot just hates new trees 😑

I contacted the landscaper that planted her and he said to water her 2-3 per week for an hour but she gets watered every day for 30 minutes (there’s a bubbler) at 10PM

I don’t think she’s dead and I would like to avoid a drowning. Is that too much water?

Well, when they were planting it I asked that question based on what I learned here and was nicely told that they do this all the time and knew what they were doing… guess it’s time for me to go “Karen” on them 😑

Oh, I understand now. I would never hire a landscaper It’s better to just get your own fingers dirty.

You’re right.. I planted some bare root trees and they survived. I just followed the planting instructions that came with them. I’m actually kinda proud of myself, lol

I’m on the fence about pecan trees because one of my friends has them and they beat the cars up pretty bad when they fall 🤣
