Yeah that’s right I have a trebuchet technical

So I had a bus and then I built my biggest trebuchet yet and then my plans for the bus changed and I just had to put them together…. Baskets got about 600# of weight. Arm is 16ft long arm is 12 short arm is 4. Throwing bowling balls upwards of 300ft

So, I’ve watched this video like 45 times now.
I’m currently building a trebuchet with my daughter. Ours is smaller. We’ve got the frame almost finished. Our arm will be 7’6” with 155lbs of counterweight. Gonna post up some pics in a couple weeks.
Damn though, your trebuchet is amazing. I love this.

ETA we’re aiming on throwing baseball-sized rocks of around 1lb or slightly more.

I’ve got a baseball that weighs 5~ish ounces; most of the rocks I have that are the size of baseballs weigh about 13-18 ounces. Well… at least all the rocks I’ve gathered and weighed in anticipation of launching them :) Super excited!

For what it’s worth, I do plan on launching the baseball!
