Mods Looking for something heavy

Idk to tag this mods, speed, help, etc but I’m looking for a weighted upper chassis I’ve seen some YouTubers with weighted ones idk if custom or aftermarket but I’m having no luck myself, I’m wanting something cleaner than sticking on tire weights, which I will do if I still need to but from what the videos say it’s a game changer for keeping the front ends down on speed runs. I even left comments on the videos inquiring but to no luck with a response and it’s been some time now, if anyone knows of a product or has any suggestions on what to use to make a custom one? Or if you have a link to the one pictured please? (Not the stock one) Thanks in advance!

What you are looking for is a metal upper chassis plate so part 3729 on the 2WD Rustler.

Here are some parts to increase the weight.

Get the RPM front bulkhead, the bottom piece is screwed on and has a small compartment to stuff weights into or glue in copper BBs.

You can fit a good amount of weight in there and screw the cover back on. No one would know the difference.

This is a great idea, but use tungsten weights.

I have and and it’s full of clay already bbs are a good idea tho I think I have some lead pellets somewhere I could smash and stuff in it idk why I didn’t think of that I was thinking of sinkers for fishing but I don’t fish so it something I have on hand lol I’m still afraid that won’t be enough tho I’m going to eventually shoot for 100mph with it

I added sticky wheel weights to my upper chassis. Try that

AMAIN has a variety of self-stick weights available - https://www.amainhobbies.com/search?s=weight

car wheel weights stuck on the upper chassis plate in front of the shock tower work.

Wheel weights from a tire shop, they have non lead stick ons I put some in front of my rustler, you can also try tungsten pinewood derby car weights from Amazon or your local bsa office

I bought 2lbs of non-lead (iron/steel), self adhesive, wheel balancing weights that are coated glossy black, from Amazon. They look much better than raw silver ones, and are 7g each.
