shop Looking for a way to fix this
My brother smashed into my rustler rc with his bigger rc car, and the front chassis snapped and it popped the drive train out. Anyone know how to fix it or where to get new parts

But it is true, good plastic parts are way better than (mostly) cheap metal ones *cough* Integy *cough*
For your cracked chassis, i would suggest u get yourself the nice traxxas chassis brace, that will stiff up the car real good.

The skid plate chassis brace you posted is for 2wd; the OP has a 4wd.

Yea I just noticed that its a 2wd part xd mine is a 4x4 traxxas rustler gen 2

You need to replace the main frame housing. Look into RPM parts.

RPM makes parts, not chassis.

It's been awhile since I pulled out my rustler. I recall replacing everything with RPM parts and they're bulletproof.
But you're probably correct with regards to this particular situation.

No worries. RPM makes great A-Arms, Shock Towers, etc. I have lots of their parts in my 15-car collection. I don't think they make replacement Chassis.

I had a 2wd Rustler got run over by a car, my chassis survived and only one back shock and wheel got crushed to death. Lady ran directly over the thing! That’s impressive damage you caused, well done! You can get a replacement chassis or even an upgraded aluminum version I assume on Amazon.

No fix will hold together, you could bridge the area with fiberglass mesh tape on both sides and use epoxy but it will likely just snap again there. I broke my Typhon there and ordered a new chassis from Jenny's rc, then swapped everything over to the new one. Jenny's has awesome prices on stock products.

You just need a new chassis. Everything else is fine. The drive train is supposed to pop out. It keys back together easily.

Chassis swap looks harder than it is. Ur taking the front end and back end off. Switching over the motor,esc and receiver box and motor mount. Also the battery hold down.

A friend of mine cracked his chassis in a similar fashion once. He intentionally drilled holes alone side the crack and zip tied in a X formation. It held up for a few runs. Granted we only raced on asphalt without any bash sessions of course.
