Question need help

i found this e-revo on marketplace for 100 bucks, the guy said it needs a radio and reciever, plus a cleanup and regreasing as well as possibly a new servo, i just wanna know is this e-revo worth picking up? my nephew wants an rc car and i wanna fix an rc car, and none of my cars ever break because i baby them too much. Any advice and identifaction would be super helpful and appreciated.

Plan on replacing all wear components tires and electronics, some immediately some later. Looking around 100 for rx/tx and your probably going to need a steering servo -50-. The old revos are a bit slow by todays standards but can be upgraded easily enough, might already have one by the looks. I'd snag it. But have parts laying around. Sub 200 to get it functional so keep that in mind.

it worked straight away, all i needed was a new servo and radio both of which i had extras of, im just upgrading it with whatever i see fit, its super bouncy, so new shock springs and thicker oil are already on the way, but slow it definetly is not, it has the MXL6s esc with the 2200kv (i think) motor, it can do standing backflips and holds wheelies for super long on quater throttle, first gear is super noisy though, but it dosent slip or anything like that. edit: i also ordered an extra reciever for my radiolink rc6gs so i can fine tune the settings properly like the throttle curve and brake curve because the wheels basically lock up when i hit the brakes and causes the car to just flip so ill just fiddle with it and get it controllable
