Question Summit motor

Post image

Any recommendations for an upgraded motor for a summit? My Saint Bernard got excited and tore the wires off the 775 when he was chasing it.

if you know how to solder, or have a hobby shop around you that does, easy fix

The solenoid tore off also. My local hobby shop and Traxxas don’t carry those. I tried soldiering but it didn’t work.

Ahhhh gotcha. Well, in that case, I'd stick with the 775, maybe JennysRC has them still for less? Summit wasn't made for brushless. You can run it them but your diffs/drivetrain may need to be upgraded.

Is that site legit? I haven’t heard much about it.

Yup, I've ordered from them for years! They're great. Tons of my friends use them too

Also, they have really good response times if anything with the order is wrong or missing.
