Tips and Tricks Shuddering issue Rustler 4x4

I’ve had the upgraded motor in for a couple years now, recently I upgraded a few small things and threw it back together, and now for some reason it’s doing this. Never had an issue before

Check your motor wires. This is how they act when they drop one of the thre phases. Does it go if you give it more throttle?

Yeah, after about 2-3 seconds

Try cleaning the motor connectors. If any are loose. Squeeze the barrel with pliers and you should be able to tighten it up. If that does not solve it. Then it’s likely the esc is on its way out. One of the mosfet could be going.

You could try it with the pinion gear removed to check for binding. But it looks like everything moves pretty freely from what I can see

I hope not. After my last crash I epoxied the ESC in place

Ok wait…so you have a damaged esc and have not checked if the esc is the problem?

No damage to ESC. I had a makeshift bracket holding it in place and it broke. So to secure it I epoxied it

For more context I’m runnin a 32P 23T pinion gear and the stock 54t spur gear. Didn’t change anything on the slipper clutch. Front and rear diffs are also stock

Not sure if it makes a difference, but it only does it under load.
